Despite the fact that LA managed to get their first road win in over a year and a half, the local media pretty much chose to ignore the result.
LA went down 1-0 early and trailed by that score at half-time. However, Jovan Kirovski finished 2 of his many opportunities and Carlos Ruiz iced the match late as LA won 3-1

He may have not had his best performance yesterday but the Myrtle Beach Sun News (local paper where he played college ball at Costal Carolina) talked to Joseph Ngwenya about being an MLS player.

ESPN is reporting that former Galaxy defender, Paul Caligiuri, was elected to the National Soccer Hall of Fame today.
After scoring five goals and an assist in four matches in April, Galaxy striker, Carlos Ruiz, was named MLS Player of the Month. This is the third time Ruiz has won this honor since joining LA prior to the 2002 season.
